Dr Wendy-lou L. Greenidge founded and is currently the President and CEO of Espère Counseling and Consulting Services. She is a licensed culturally responsive and inclusive psychotherapist with over twenty years of clinical mental health experience in various professional counseling settings including inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient programs, in-home counseling, K-12 and college counseling settings, substance abuse and marriage, couple and family counseling agencies. She works with children, teens and adult populations treating an array of mental health issues both in the U.S and Internationally. She is dually licensed to practice professional counseling in the State of Florida and in the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. She facilitates educational programs and career coaching worldwide.
Dr. Greenidge earned a Ph.D. in Counselor Education, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Human Resource Management. She is an NBCC International Mental Health Facilitator Trainer, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider to name a few. Dr Greenidge also facilitates workshops and presentations on mental health related topics within the U.S. and internationally. She actively engages in research and program evaluation and her research agenda centers on cross-cultural issues in mental health counseling. She has published numerous articles that helped to advance Caribbean mental health as well as the field of professional counseling.
Dr Greenidge is the proud recipient of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) Outstanding Teaching Award and has earned other awards and accolades for her impact and competence in the field of professional counseling and counselor education.
